Celebrated songstress Amy Atchley, from Austin, moved to New York City in January of 2000. Since that time she has performed extensively in the local music scene and has developed a strong presence in that community. She has shared showcases with Angie Aparo, Jessie Harris, Amy Rigby, Ani DeFranco, Ron Sexsmith, Abra Moore, Charlie Sexton, Terry Hendrix, David Garza, Michael Fracasso, and more. Amy has contributed to Walt Disney's Dick Tracy, Little Mermaid, Lion King and Pocahantas and is the featured voice for Matel's Barbie Girl Games CD-ROMs. She has been selected as an artist to perform her material at both SXSW & CMJ music conferences. WISH contains Amy's most poignant writing to date and features some of New York City's finest musicians.
After 4 1/2 years of living and performing in New York City's thriving music scene, Amy has decided to reconnect with her roots and has moved home to Austin, "the live musical capitol of the world". Amy can be heard at local venues in the Austin and surrounding area.
